Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is an online written test conducted for admission of the ground duties and flying branch posts. As it is one of the most prestigious and toughest exams in India, therefore candidates must know the details related to the exam. The application of this exam was released back in December 2019 and was conducted successfully on February 22nd, 2020. The AFCAT exam date for the next round of SSB has not been announced yet. AFCAT Apply Online Process

The candidates must take care that they do not exceed the AFCAT application form submissions deadlines. The AFCAT Apply Online process will be active during the following dates for AFCAT 1 2020.

Know the AFCAT Apply Online Process 

The application form will be available on the online portal of the AFCAT for submission. For AFCAT 1 the application form should be correctly submitted by December 30th, 2019. The following steps to submit an online application.

  • Visit the official AFCAT website 

  • Fill all the required details (educational & personal).

  • According to the given format upload the required soft copies of the documents.

  • Submit the form and download its print.

  • Pay the necessary application fee.

The Prerequisites for Application are these documents Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression in .jpg/.jpeg format between the size of 10-50kb


Common Reasons for Rejection of the Form

The submitted application form will lead to rejection if

  • the documents uploaded are not according to the given format.

  • the candidates do not meet the eligibility criteria.

  • the application fee might not be cleared before the deadline.

Hence, the candidates must avoid committing such mistakes while the AFCAT Apply Online process.

Things to Keep in Mind before applying for the AFCAT apply online process are - 

  • The candidate selected successfully will be placed under training for 74 weeks in the case of Ground and Flying Duty (Technical) branches, otherwise 54 weeks.

  • The total number of vacancies is subject to change.

  • A refund of the application fee will not happen.
